Athlete of Athlete Week
Good afternoon all,
The Athletic Department would like to recognize the following students for their outstanding efforts during the last week of practice and competition. It is my privilege to also recognize our Athlete of the Week as Tucker Blasi!
Athlete of the Week
Varsity Baseball
Tucker Blasi
Tucker batted .500 over the course of 3 games. He hit a single, two doubles, and a triple while scoring every time he reached base. During this stretch of games, Tucker also pitched a total of three innings, striking out 4 and only surrendering one hit.
Varsity Softball
Kayla Fowler
Batting was 1000 last week and she had 6 Plate appearances and 3 at Bats. She had 3 hits, one being a single. She scored 2 runs and walked 3 times. Fielding she had 7 Total Chances at playing the ball in which she had 5 put outs and 2 assists. She was also able to be one of the lucky runners to score at the Bucktail game.
JH Boys Soccer
Lucas King
Team leader during practice, leads team through warm-ups, and everyday touches. He is always on time, works hard, and leads by example. Works to be the team leader during games conveying instructions to the team. Lucas is the utility player who can play any position and gives it 100% from the start to the end of the game
JH Girls Soccer
Charley Insinger.
Charley had a good opening week to the JH soccer season. She had double digit saves in goal and girls JH soccer team earned a draw against Benton 1-1. Congratulations to all and keep it up!
