Athlete of the Week
The Athletic Department would like to recognize the following students for their outstanding efforts during the last week of practice and competition. It is my privilege to also recognize our Athlete of the Week as Bailey Smith!
Athlete of the Week
JH Softball
Bailey Smith
Bailey had 2 RBIs in the Millville game and she hit the run in that won the game. She also stayed strong on the mound. She is always a positive influence on the team. Against Bucktail Bailey had 2 runs and a single. Baily has a .368 batting average for the season and was always one to count on for contact hits. Congrats Bailey!
Boys Soccer
Rocky Finnegan
Rocky had a goal and assist in the last two games. Rocky had the lone goal in our 2-1 loss to South Williamsport, and an assist to Riley King in our 2-1 win over Bloomsburg. Rocky is a team captain and leader keeping the team focused and motivated. Way to go Rocky!
Girls Soccer
Lily McCarty
Lily had an outstanding week last week. In the win vs Millville she assisted on our third goal and then scored the game winner in overtime. Lily also assisted in the goal scored vs Muncy. Awesome job Lily!
Paige Jordan
Paige has come in first for our team on Sept 27 and October 1. Paige was only 2 positions from earning an individual award at a 166 runner race on Saturday. Paige continues to improve each week and has become a strong runner for our team. Great job Paige!
Varsity Cross Country
Hunter O'Conner
Hunter had his first; First place finish on September 27, 2022 at Sayre and ran a strong race on Saturday October 1 at the NEPA invitational on Saturday.. Hunter continues to be a strong athlete. Keep it up Hunter!
