Athlete of the Week

The Athletic Department would like to recognize the following students for their outstanding efforts during the last week of practice and competition. It is my privilege to also recognize our first Athlete of the Week of the fall sports season as Makayla Bedford!

Athlete of the Week

Golf

Makayla Bedford

Makayla has shown consistent improvement every match she has played. She got her first par on 8/23 at White Deer Golf Course. She also got her first birdie on 9/8 at Belles Springs Golf Course. The last time out Makayla shot a career low of 57 on 9/13  at Mill Race Golf Course taking 7 strokes off her game! Well done Makayla!

Nominations from Coaches

Girls Soccer

Chloe Immel

Chloe registered two assists in the girls win against Montgomery on Saturday. She has been a vital piece between transitioning from offense to defense. She is a sound leader who overcomes adversity when she is faced with it. Congrats Chloe!

Boys Soccer

Riley King

Riley continued his hot streak on the soccer field this past week. In the boys game on Monday vs NE Bradford Riley scored a hat trick. He also was the lone scorer in their game vs Benton. Riley continues to be dominate on the field. Awesome job Riley!

Cross Country

Libby Moore

Libby has come in first for our team our two meets last week.  She continues to improve her times and has become a leader. Great job Libby!

Isaiah Botsford

Isaiah has come in first for our JH boys team this week with a 4th over all finish and a 6th over all finish. He continues to work hard and improve his times. Awesome Isaiah!

JH Softball

 Emily Murray

She has amazing sportsmanship.  Emily always shows enthusiasm at games and practices.  She asks questions and truly wants to learn the game and how she can improve.  If Emily is on the bench or in the field, she is always cheering and trying to keep her team up. This past week she hit a big double against Muncy at home driving in two runs. Emily is the definition of a teammate and sportsmanship. Keep it up Emily!

Congratulations to all and Keep up the great work!
